Our extra-curricular classes provide a safe and supportive environment for kids to unleash their imaginations, explore their interests, and develop new skills that they can use throughout their lives. From cooking and arts & crafts to movement classes that promote physical activity, our classes are designed to inspire and ignite the ingenuity of children, while exploring the world God has created for them to enjoy. Meet Ms. Melanie

Ms. Melanie

Melanie is a Santa Barbara native with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Culinary Arts, First Aid and ServSafe certifications, and 18+ years of experience teaching preschool. Ms. Melanie was inspired to work with children because she loves creating an environment where they can use their God-given abilities to explore, grow, and thrive. Her teaching philosophy fosters creativity and imagination, encouraging children to bravely explore the world around them. When not teaching, she loves to cook and bake, stay active through hiking and outdoor activities, and is actively involved in her church and community.

Melanie is such an Angel with children. My son is captivated by her and loves each of her art classes. All of her classes are very thoughtful and planned. She is awesome and we have enjoyed every single class we have taken with her!

Thank you so much for the spectacular Tacos baking birthday party! My 11 year old daughter and her friends had a ball! Making tomatillo salsa from scratch and guacamole to the churro cupcakes, you amaze me! I loved hearing the giggles and laughter from the kitchen. So authentic and fun! Thank you, we will definitely do this again in the summer.

Melanie did an amazing art project with our daughter! She is only 6 months old and Melanie created an amazing painting project that was age appropriate AND mess free!!
